Corrie Fee Delight

From Glen Doll car park, we start our quest,
Weather good, we’re feeling blessed.
With every step, like soft tone drums,
Mayar and Driesh calling with windy hums.

Through Corrie Fee, here heather sprawls,
A purple sea where silence falls.
The path ascends, our muscles strain,
Our first goal being, Mayer’s wee cairn.

Green slopes levelling, the summit clear,
We push ahead, our goal is near.
First top bagged, here the view is grand,
Another Munro we now have in hand.

Off to Driesh, the wind it howls,
Through every step, it’s spirit prowls.
The climb is steady, the goal’s in sight,
Another ticked of summit, in sunshine bright.

Now down the Kilbo, a fine path we go,
Keeping pace steady, nice and slow.
The day still bright, with challenge met,
Two Munros claimed, our hearts now set.

A route not fierce, but calm and true,
With this pair climbed our spirits grew.
From Corrie Fee to mountain crown,
A true bagger’s journey, here we’ve found.
