‘Hill of the Speckled Cliff’
Rising high above the moorland in central Sutherland this Munro is the 2nd most northerly. On a clear day the summit offers magnificent views over northern Scotland.
We have 2 virtual tours up Ben Kilbreck. The 1st route and most popular from Vagastie bridge, climbs the boggy grass slope of Cnoc Sgriodain before heading out to Ben Kilbreck. The 2nd route starts 1.5km further north and takes a more direct line over very wet grass, bog and heather via Loch Bad an Loch up to the shoulder below Carn an Fheidh.

The popular route to Ben Kilbreck via Cnoc Sgriodain starts at a small car park at the entrance to Riabhach Wind Farm.

This route takes a direct line over very wet grass, bog and heather up to the shoulder below Carn an Fheidh. From here it follows a narrow path to the summit.
